In November 2003, the newly built 63-room hotel, situated next to the renowned

Golden Tulip Hotels, Inns & Resorts, opened the ceremony.

Mr. Blaauw took this opportunity to award the Golden Tulip Zevenbergen with Hotel of
the Year 2007 Award, category Tulip Inn, Benelux.

Hans Kennedie, Managing Director & C.E.O. of Golden Tulip Hospitality, states: "The
upgrade of the three star to a four star hotel reflects the current market situation
in the area in which the hotel operates. It gives us great pleasure to see that our
different brands offer hoteliers possibilities to keep up with market conditions."

Mr. George Muns, Director of the Golden Tulip Zevenbergen comments: "The recognition
of the fourth star and the Golden Tulip status is a confirmation of our hard work
and a stimulant to continue. We are confident that this recognition will help us
